At 800 feet above sea level, The Hermitage slumbers on several acres of stone terraces. Its pastel guest cottages are scattered among fruit trees fringed with tropical flowers swaying quietly to the sounds of songbirds and doves in the daytime and a chorus of tiny bellfrogs and crickets in the soft evenings. At this elevation the temperature rarely moves below 75 degrees or above 85 degrees Fahrenheit, year round, day or night. It is this astonishing micro-climate that makes The Hermitage location so special.
